MusicScope VST / AU-Plugin

 

The free of charge MusicScope-VST / AU-Plugin enables the MusicScope  to be used in any Microsoft Windows or Apple MacOS X VST or AU Host (Audio-Player, Digital Audio Workstation) which supports VST / AU.

To transfer the audio data from the VST / AU-Plugin to the MusicScope a TCP/IP-Stream is established.

Please download the plugin depending on your VST/AU host as well as operating system and copy it to the appropriate folder.

Windows:

Windows - VST 2.4 (32 bit)

copy to c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST2

Windows - VST 2.4 (64 bit)

copy to c:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2

Windows - VST 3 (32 bit)

copy to c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3

Windows - VST 3 (64 bit)

copy to c:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

MacOS X:

MacOS X - AU (64 bit)

copy to ~Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

MacOS X - VST 3 (64 bit)

copy to ~Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

Open the MusicScope settings and select VST.

Click on the Start-Button to activate the VST-TCP/IP-Server.

The TCP-Port can be changed.

Load the MusicScope VST-Plugin into the VST-Host

(Audio Player or Digital Audio Workstation).

Set the VST-Plugin IP-Address and TCP-Port.

The standard for the local loop is: 127.0.0.1:8989

Establish the TCP/IP connection between the VST-Plugin and the MusicScope

by clicking on the start-symbol of the VST-Plugin.

Make sure that the firewall accepts the connection between the VST-Plugin and the MusicScope.

Click on „Select“ to set the MusicScope into the VST INPUT mode.

MusicScope VST / AU Setup

In VST INPUT mode the MusicScope automatically deactivates its audio output. It is possible to manually activate the MusicScope’s audio output at any time by going into Settings -> Audio Output.
